Sauda town centre

Short distances in Sauda town centre means everything is at a convenient walking distance. There’s also free parking throughout town.

The town centre has a variety of independent shops and grocery stores.

Here you’ll also find a library, town hall, a cultural hub (Folkets Hus), cinema (opening in the winter of 2023) and a public pool open year round.

The town is host to Saudadagane – a summer festival celebrating life in Sauda and the annual farmer’s market Bønder i Byn.

The town centre is also a good starting point for numerous hikes in the area, check out Varden (cairn) between Folkets Hus and Saudahallen public pool to get inspired!

The town enjoys heated streets in winter, meaning downtown is close to snow free.
